5 stars - EXCELLENT STORY! Reviewed in the USA on 03/30/25 This novel, a captivating example of billionaire romance, features well-defined, lovable characters who face and solve a mystery together. Kari, who had a wall of hesitations, is still influenced by her love for Declan to be intimate with him. I appreciated that. A sterling character was Jagger, who dug into the mystery in spite of the danger to all. He also showed Declan important, selfless aspects of island life. Declan even got back to practicing medicine! I worried about retaliation from the evil guy, but luckily, the novel has a HEA ending. An epilogue, a jump into their future, would have been a worthwhile addition. I recommend this absorbing book by Elle Valor!

I loved the vivid imagery, and Gemma's voice connected with me right away. I enjoyed how the story and characters unfolded and looked forward to each chapter.
